| Hey all you freakinly amazing xanga land people! I am finally back!!! But only for a couple of days!!! On Tuesday I will be shipping out to Fortbenning Georga for 16 weeks of US Army bootcamp! Just about three weeks ago I felt God calling me to go enlist in the Army National Guard, so I went and talked to a recruiter about joining the Army, took the ASVAB Test (which I scored very high on), filled out tons of paper work, spent a day at MEPs in Dallas getting a full physical (Not Fun!), Filled out tons of more paper work, attended a drill weekend at the Army National Guard Infantry base in Greenville (which was stinkin' awesome!), and working out hardcore! (like running 7-10 miles everyday, and doing pushups, situps, and chinups!!!) So I'm pretty much as ready as I could ever be for Basic Training ! I am really excited and pumped up to go but also a little nervous at the same time! Fort Benning is the toughest training camp in the Army which means...I am gonna come back pretty much freakin' rip! So that will be awesome! I will miss all my East Texas buddies, and girlies, and all my bestest friends on xanga! But I will be back someday!!! I hope to get back to school for the spring semester after I get out of bootcamp then during the summer go back for like airborn or air assault training or something! If I don't get shipped over seas to the Middle East, I will probably get shiped down to the Mexican border this next coming summer. I'm also hoping to get into Officer training school within a year or so, which would be really sweet! If I do get accepted into OTS I will probably end up making the Military my career. But thats quite a ways from now so I need to focus on what God wants me to do right now! Which is go to basic training, then He will show me what to do next! It is really late right now and I am exhausted so I am gonna go to bed! Untill next time..........
Peace Out Ya'll, Private Jesse Henderson

| HeyYa'll, I know I haven't been on in forever so I thought I'd see whats new with you and put up a new post. SO how has everyone been doing? I am at dan s. house right now and we're just chillen so I guess I am gonna go do something else. I'll talk at you people later. Have a great night.
Here's a question for ya'll: If you could pick the single most important quality in a mate what would that quality be?
| Wow!!! It's been like forever since I've posted!!! I've been like really really busy with school & work!!! My poison ivy is all gone! Yes!!! I thought I was gonna die last week! But.... I didn't! So that's good! Work went really well Fri & Sat at the clinic. We have a lot of momma & babys there right now!!! I had to chase a whole herd of buffelo into a catching pen Saturday evenin'! Boy........that was easy!!! NOT!!! Buffelo are very very dangerous & Smart (at least they think they are)!!! It took me about 45 mins. Which isn't too bad considering that I was on foot and all by myself! It would have been much easier if I was using a horse. With in 15 min. I had all the buffelo in the pen exept for the two "smart ones" I chased then around on foot for like.... 30 mins. Then I decided to try using the tractor. It took me another 15 mins after I started using the tractor before I got them in the pen. That was sooo much fun pushin' around those big over size slabs of beef around!!! I went to church on Sunday. I am sooo glad to going to church again!!! It is nice to have Sundays as a day to relax & enjoy God's Creation! I did school all day yesterday & today. I'm pushing really hard to finish school by May! It's very exciting to think that I just have a couple more months until I am out! It's also kinda sad at the same time.
Well....gotta go! Love Ya'll!!! Jess
| I'm still suffering from da freakin' poison ivy! I am gettin' better though. At least my face isn't a giant, itchy, red, blistery, rash anymore! Now it's just a giant, itchy, yellow, oozy, sticky, rash! LOL! I had to stay home from music today. Which really stinks because, Andrew & I were goin' to practice a new little fiddle jig today.
Well I don't have anything else that needs to be said sooo here's a blonde joke for ya'll to waste more of your time reading! LOL!!!
ttyl. Jess
A blonde had just totaled her car in a horrific accident. Miraculously, she managed to pry herself from the wreckage without a scratch and was applying fresh lipstick when the state trooper arrived. "My goodness!" the trooper exclaimed "Your car looks like an accordion that was stomped on by an elephant. Are you OK ma'am?" "Yes, officer, I'm just fine" the blonde chirped. "Well, how in the world did this happen?" the officer asked as he surveyed the wrecked car. "Officer, it was the strangest thing!" the blonde began. "I was driving along this road when from out of nowhere this TREE pops up in front of me. So I swerved to the right, and there was another tree! I swerved to the left and there was ANOTHER tree! I swerved to the right and there was another tree! I swerved to the left and there was...." "Uh, ma'am," the officer said, cutting her off, "There isn't a tree on this road for 30 miles. That was your air freshener swinging back and forth."

| Sorry for not writing a new entry for a few days. I've been like WAY totally busy! I went to work on Friday. It was a normal day........execpt for the pig we casterated! Yes.....we casterated a pig! Potbelly pig! LOL! For some strange reason I sure was craving for some ham or bacon during the casteration! LOL! We are now called...... Rockwall Equine & Pig!!! LOL! Saturday was awesome! After I finished with my morning work I went on a farm call with one of the Doctors! That was sooo awesome! Now Sunday was NOT a good feelin' day for me. I woke up to poison ivy all over my arms & face!!! I was pretty miserable all through church!!! Almost my whole face is a giant itchy red rash! Please pray that it does not get into my eyes & that it will go away very quickly. If I do not touch my face any, the poison ivy should be gone by Friday (hopefully).
I would write more but.......all that's on my mind right now is poison ivy!!!
Love Ya'll, Jess | | |
